i’m new to yoga what do i do?

check our class descriptions, and choose the right class & temperature for you.
beginner classes include BASIC vinyasa, happy hour & gentle yoga flow
drink plenty of water throughout the day.
come 20 minutes early, register and sign a waiver.
set yourself up in the studio, where you’ll feel comfortable.
if it’s a hot class, give your body time to get used to the heat.
easy does it. breathe. its just yoga.
enjoy yourself, if that is all you do, enjoy.

what do i need to bring?

1) an open mind
2) wear comfortable, breathable clothing
3) your own yoga mat (we rent for $2)
4)water (we sell for $1)
5)towel (we rent for $1)

can i eat before class?

you can do anything you want, but it is not suggested.
some postures are designed to flush your organs, which helps detoxify the body.
eating before may cause you to feel uncomfortable.
we suggest eating two hours before class.
if you must eat, go for something light, like fruit or a simple salad.

can i bring my cell phone into the studio?

nope. trust me, you’ll want to be so far from your phone once you step in…
we say leave it in the car yay, a wifi break!

do men practice yoga?

c’mon now, yoga started as a mens practice… yes, they do!
